What do you call your husband?

Today is Marsha's husband's birthday. She talks about what they call each other here.
Her post reminded me of an incredibly funny story.
We were in the process of buying our first home. There were many calls to be made to this person and that person and then there was the relaying of each call between my husband and I. On this particular day I needed to call our inspector.

Hello?

Hi! Is this Greg?

No, this is Adam .. YOUR HUSBAND! Who is Greg??

I laughed until I cried. Through tears and bursts of laughter I tried to explain to my husband that I was trying to call our inspector, Greg. He got a good chuckle out of it. I think Greg thought I was a bit nuts though when I could barely contain myself when I finally dialed the right number?

So what do you call your husband? Something endearing I hope, but more importantly I hope you call him by HIS name!

Pumpkin Pickin

We went to the neatest Pumpkin Patch this last weekend! It was hot though. Too hot. Too hot to pick pumpkins in October. We had tons of fun though! If you live anywhere near Franklin, TN I would suggest a trip to Gentry's Farm. They are very homeschool friendly too and it looks like they have a great summer day camp program.
There is a pumpkin patch where you can pick your own, a corn maze (shaped like a cow!), a hay maze with cool little slides and tunnels throughout, a few animals, lots of history, corn/grain troughs for the kiddos (and big kids), a big barn with lots of centers like a farmers' market and linclon logs, a hay ride, nature trail .... tons to do and really a great price.
Pumpkin carving and painting begins tonight!

Yay! I have a face! I finally got a profile pic up and just in case you weren't sure, I'm the face on the left. The face on the right belongs to my super hot, most fantastic husband. I love that face!
We went to see Fireproof this weekend. It was such a great movie! Though it didn't really seem like a movie because there was so much truth to it. It was all true. Can't wait to see it again. To be reminded of God's love and to know that we are able to love and be loved the way that He loves us! You should see it! Scroll to the bottom of the blog for more info!
